Changes to the list of German control authorities

 

 

In Germany, the supervisory landscape for data protection and freedom of information is federally structured. In addition to supervision by the regional and local authorities, the non-public domain is in principle also overseen by the regional data protection authorities.

We have therefore updated the list of supervisory authorities according to the Länder. The list is available from the Entity menu.

 

 

Processing - Interaction with Third Parties

 

From now on, you will be able to access information on third parties linked to your processing directly from the Recipients (External), Cross-Border Flows and Data Categories pages, without being redirected to the repository.

Clicking on the "info" icon will open a window giving access to the third party's information.

You can remain focused on entering or reading your treatment, while being able to access the corresponding repository via a link. This allows you to remain efficient in your work while having access to the information you need at the click of a button.

Access to information will soon be available for the other repositories: software, sites, hardware, data categories, contacts and services.

 

 

Recipients stage - Multiple selection of external recipients

 

We have improved the selection of third parties for external recipients so that you can access more information before making your choice. The country is now clearly displayed and a pictogram gives you access to the specific details of each third party.

We've also included the option of selecting several external recipients at once, before validating them.

This improved display makes it easier and quicker to select recipients.

 

 

Bug corrections

[PIA] Unable to download different versions of PDFs

A problem prevented PDFs from being downloaded from the history of a PIA. This anomaly has been corrected in this version.

 

[Repository - Software] Type cannot be changed

A problem prevented the type of software from being changed in the repository, but this issue has been resolved in this version.
